Privacy Policy — Icarus Energy Terminal

Icarus Energy Terminal ("the app") is built to work without collecting personal data. This policy explains what little data is involved in running the app and where it lives.

Data we collect

None. The app has no user accounts, no sign-in, no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no tracking. We do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information.

Data stored on your device

Your preferences — followed markets, custom markets you add, price alerts, and your acceptance of in-app terms — are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them. They are never transmitted to us.

Network requests

To show market data, the app requests delayed quotes, price history, forward curves, positioning data, and news headlines from our data proxy hosted on Cloudflare Workers. These requests do not include any personal identifiers. Like virtually all web infrastructure, Cloudflare may transiently process your IP address to deliver the response and protect against abuse; we do not log, store, or analyze IP addresses ourselves.

Third-party data sources

Market data and headlines are sourced from publicly available services (Yahoo Finance, CoinGecko, alternative.me, Google News RSS, and the U.S. CFTC). Requests to these services are made by our proxy server, not from your device, so these providers do not receive your IP address or any information about you.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
